Women's Committee for Hospice Care, Inc. hosts annual Ladies' Night Out
Local Nonprofit Seeks Gently Used Donations at an Evening of Cocktails and Hors D'oeuvres
Bloomfield Hills, Mich. - February 25, 2008 - The Women's Committee for Hospice Care, Inc. (WCHC) will host their third annual Ladies' Night Out on Wednesday, March 12 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Pine Lake Country Club located at 3300 Pine Lake Road in Orchard Lake, Mich.
The goal of Ladies' Night Out is a casual and fun evening of wine and hors d'oeuvres where donors can drop off gently-used, high-end specialty items for the upcoming Vintage Rose booth at the WCHC Spring Luncheon & Boutique on May 6. Items WCHC is seeking from donors include: jewelry, scarves, belts, St. John knits, genuine designer purses, hats, tea sets, silver, crystal, watches, pens, pashmina wraps, Christopher Radko ornaments, art deco pieces, fur coats/stoles, antique porcelain, jewelry boxes, Burberry, Gucci, Prada, Fendi, and alligator/crocodile anything! Complimentary valet parking, covered entry, and unloading assistance are provided.
Events like the Spring Luncheon & Boutique assist the WCHC, a nonprofit organization, in raising money for nonprofit hospices in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties in southeast Michigan. Over the past two years, Vintage Rose has been both a crowd pleaser and a fund generator at the Spring Luncheon & Boutique, bringing in over $9,500 for the WCHC supported charities.
A donation to Vintage Rose is the price of admittance to the Ladies' Night Out event. Cash donations are also accepted and appreciated. Pick-up of donations is available through April for those unable to attend the event.
