Fall 2002

Meeting.

I want to thank each of you for your participation this year.  It has been a busy year.  Your involvement translates to the success we have in giving the needed funds to our Hospice Organizations.

This is the end of my second year commitment as President of Women’s Committee for Hospice Care.  Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with all of you.  I have been supportive of Hospice Care for many years and will continue to help the Hospice Cause.

President’s Message

Dear Members

The Grand Night for Hospice Ball XVII was a very successful event.  On a very snowy evening, we had over 500 guests in attendance.  Ball Chairman Pamela Berger and her Co-Chairman Pearl Hamilton along with their committee, created a beautiful evening.  The Silent and Live Auction, the Mustang raffle, and the introduction and sale of the beautiful silk scarf, created for WCHC, helped us raise needed money for grants.

We are in the final preparation for the 2005 Spring Luncheon and Boutique.  This year it will be held on May 3, at the new Royal Park Hotel in downtown Rochester.  We hope you have received your invitation.  Invite friends and enjoy the afternoon.

The Grants Committee has received many grant requests from our 8 Hospice Organizations.  In the months of February and March, visits were made to discuss the needs of the organizations.  Every year we are hopeful that we can respond to as many needs as possible.

On May 18, at Orchard Lake Country Club, the Annual Meeting and Grants Presentation to our Hospices will take place.  This is the day the results of our work starts working for Hospice Care.  Please join us.  You will receive a letter with more information about the Annual
