Text Box: Spring Luncheon and Boutique
We are thrilled to announce the location of our annual Spring Luncheon and Boutique! It will be held on Tuesday, May 3rd at the fabulous new Royal Park Hotel in downtown Rochester!
I must thank my wonderful Committee for all their hard work because we have thirty vendors - brand new faces along with familiar favorites - all bringing their whimsical wares.
Save your pennies for some raffle tickets! Raffle items will include a Bulgari watch (oh yeah!), a tres chic Chanel bag, a Pedicure for a Year, a makeup lesson from Todd’s Room and several other womanly delights!
There will be two reserved luncheon seatings – at 11:00 and 1:00.
Watch for your invitation in the mail, and don’t forget to bring all your girlfriends!
The location, the shopping and the friendship – all for such an important cause – makes this an event you simply cannot miss!

We have a winner!

The night of the Hospice Ball brought the kind of weather that made us all long for spring!

The 2005 Mustang GT Coupe that had been generously donated by Ford Motor Company as this year’s raffle prize, arrived at the Ritz Carlton and by the time the doors opened for the guests, it had been “dug out” of 8 inches of snow.  It stood gleaming in the moonlight nonetheless, and enticed the guests to purchase over 100 tickets in the one hour before the party started!  A total profit of over $42,000 was realized for this year’s raffle and we are grateful to J. Walter Thompson Company, Campbell & Co. and B I Performance Group for their help and generosity in supporting all related marketing and promotional efforts.  To the disappointment of our guests, the winner was not in the room that evening.  He is a part-time hospice volunteer in his home town of Epworth, Iowa.  The lucky new Mustang owner was thrilled (and at first disbelieving) when he received the late night phone call from raffle Chair Elaine Schweitzer.  He will take delivery of the vehicle in the spring, and will no doubt drive it to his volunteer work at hospice.

Thank you to all who helped in the success of this year’s Grand Night for Hospice raffle.
